 The American Canoe Association (ACA) is a member based, national nonprofit organization serving the broader paddling public by providing education related to all aspects of paddling; stewardship support to help protect paddling environments; and sanctioning of programs and events to promote paddlesport competition and recreation (aka FUN!).
The heart of the ACA is the people who paddle, cherish, protect, and enjoy the diverse waterways of America.

Journal of Paddlesport Education
As part of the ACA's commitment to making the world a better place to paddle, we have launched the new Journal of Paddlesport Education.
This is a monthly professional journal that can be utilized by anyone interested in teaching paddlesports, whether at a school, to a club, or simply a group of friends.
In addition to journal articles, the JPE will also contain pertinent updates for paddlesport instructors.
