Stopping Marine Debris at the Source!

The ACA's Stream to Sea Initiative is designed to combine paddling with good on water stewardship. We believe the best way to inspire people to care about waterway environments is to encourage exploration through paddling.

Paddlers are on the front lines of the marine debris issue and Paddle Green Bags allow paddlers to explore our watersways while taking marine debris out at the source before it enters ocean environments. These bags are designed by paddlers for paddlers at the ACA's National Office. We have extensively researched and found the best fabrics that are abrasion resistant, durable, and made with environmental friendly dyes. Paddle Green Bags come in two sizes large & small and allow for co-branding.

Paddle Green Bags are made within 250 miles of the ACA National Office. This drastically cuts down on the ACA’s carbon foot print of manufacturing, transportation, delivery and allows U.S. companies to be excellent stewards to our waterways. When your Paddle Green Bags are too worn to collect any more trash, simply send it back to the ACA for our Second Life Recycling Program.

The purpose of Paddle Green Bags is to mitigare marine derbis at its source in all waterway environments! Ideally, we would like to track the trash you remove not only to give you credit for removing it, but to allow ACA to report to local, state, and federal decision makers concerning trash issues on your waterway.
