This certification allows the facilitator to introduce kayak and stand-up paddle (SUP) board safety and knowledge to the beginner paddler in a land-based setting. This is a 1 year, non-renewable certification.

What: Join us to earn your Paddlesport Safety Facilitator Certification in kayaking and SUP. The training for this certification includes a base module (non-discipline specific) plus two complementary modules that focus specifically on kayaking, and SUP. Upon successful completion, this certification allows you to introduce paddlecraft safety and knowledge to the beginner paddler in a land-based setting.

Who: If you want to be the best then you must be trained by the best! We are excited to have Ben Morton, owner of Precision Paddlesports, teach this course. Ben, awarded by ACA for his excellence in paddling instruction, has years of experience in nearly every paddling discipline.

Where: River Rock Outfitter, 915 Sophia Street, Downtown Fredericksburg.

Why: This certification will add credibility to yourself as a source of paddlesports safety information, as well as provide official documentation of your skills and experience for your employer, insurance carrier, or resume.

How: All gear will be provided. All you need to do is successfully complete the 1-day course and a brief written exam. In order to receive official credentialing documentation of this certification, you must be an ACA member.

To register for this course call River Rock Outfitter at 540-372-8708.
