Friends of the Rappahannock is a grassroots conservation organization that serves as the voice and active force for a healthy and scenic Rappahannock River. Located in Fredericksburg, Virginia, this local non-profit seeks to protect the longest free-flowing river into the Chesapeake Bay through advocacy, stewardship, and education programs. Their programs range from citizen-based water quality monitoring, student-led tree plantings and bi-annual clean-ups, on-water interpretive trips, at-the-river's-edge educational programs and camps that reach more than 6,000 children annually, and much more.

Riverfest is their largest annual fundraiser with all-you-can-eat crabs, buffets, open bar, live and silent auctions, music, and more. The star of the night is, of course, the Rappahannock, and the event takes place right on the river at the scenic Farley Vale Farm!

Come visit the ACA booth at this event, as we show our support for this local conservation group and the river that flows right next to our office!

Tickets MUST be purchased in advance! Visit the Friends of the Rappahannock website or call them at (540) 373.3448 to buy yours while supplies last!
