For its Winter Meeting and in support of Wintergreen Adaptive Sports, the Coastal Canoeists is bringing the National Paddling Film Festival Roadshow to Richmond. The NPFF has been in existence for over 30 years and allows the best amateur and professional film makers to show their work on both canoeing and kayaking.

The event will be held on Saturday, 1/14/12 at the VCU Commons Theater. The doors open at 7:00 with a preshow starting at 7:20 and films starting at 7:30. This event is expected to sell out so get there early. Admission is $10 for paid dues Coastals members and $12 for non-members. You can renew your dues at the event. Exact change is appreciated.

Parking:
VCU Main St. Parking Deck. Located on the block between Laurel St and Cherry St on W Main St

Driving Directions:

Arriving from the east or south by Interstate 64W/95N
From Williamsburg or Petersburg
•Take Exit 76A Chamberlayne Avenue.
•At top of the ramp turn left on Chamberlayne.
•At the next light, turn right on Leigh Street.
•At the next light, turn left on Belvidere Street.
•Drive six blocks to Main Street and turn right.
•For off-street parking — at the next light, turn left on Laurel Street.
•The entrance to Main Street Parking Deck is on the right.
•If not parking in the deck, or after parking in the deck, simply continue on Main Street. Commons is at 2nd light on the right at Cherry and Main.

Arriving from the west or north by Interstate 64E/95S
From Charlottesville or Fredericksburg
•Take Exit 76B for Belvidere Street.
•Use middle lane on exit ramp then turn left at stop light on Leigh Street.
•At the next light, turn right on Belvidere Street.
•Drive six blocks to Main Street and turn right.
•For off-street parking — at the next light, turn left on Laurel Street.
•Entrance to Main Street Parking Deck is on the right.
•If not parking in the deck, or after parking in the deck, simply continue on Main Street. Commons is at 2nd light on the right at Cherry and Main.
