Considering a new boat?

Come down to the Dinghy Shop "Test Drive" Weekend and try out the kayaks on the water. This is the largest on water show in the Tri-State area and is perfect for those thinking about purchasing a boat since you'll be able to try many different boats. There are many boats available, email us for a complete list. Located at our private beach in Amityville, New York, you can come and try the latest kayaks from Wilderness Systems, Current Designs, Impex, Hurricane, Perception, and Native Watercraft. Kayaking gear companies will also be in attendance such as MTI, Stholquist, Werner Paddles, Astral Buoyancy, Thule and many more. Come down and try out every boat out on the beach and get tips and help from experts on choosing which one is the right one for you. Come down and take advantage of the opportunity to try and buy the perfect boat and gear while the sales go on throughout the weekend.

The "Test Drive" begins Saturday, April 28th at 10 A.M. to 5 P.M. and ends Sunday, April 29th at 5 P.M. No RSVP necessary just bring a change of clothes and be ready to paddle. If you are considering purchasing a kayak, this is the perfect opportunity to try each boat.

We are located in the middle of Long Island, about a 45 min. train ride from Manhattan, and easily accessible from all major Long Island highways.
