This an East Coast Outrigger Association OC-1/2 series race, sponsored by the Mid-Atlantic Paddler's Association, consisting of one loop around Goodwin Islands near the mouth of the York River in the Chesapeake Bay. We frequently have open water conditions, but are rarely more than a few hundred yards from shore. Surfskis are welcome. Awards for all ECORA classes, as well as Surfski. Race distance is about 8 miles.
