Cruise along the Cotee River by kayak or move your body with free yoga, belly dancing and hoop dancing workshops. Expand your mind with urban agriculture and homesteading workshops. Look for an art exhibit, live music and entertainment, and community art projects. Shop locally made, grown and hand crafted goods at the Eco Market, then stroll around Orange Lake to check out the  Local Volks air-cooled VW show & swap meet. Treat yourself to  a cold mug of Big Storm Brewing Co. (locally brewed!) micro-brew and culinary deliciousness provided by select food trucks.   All paddles will follow the prudent and safe use of Required PFD's and any other safety equipment required in this area while on the water.   Paddle down the historic Pithlachascotee river (just say) "Cotte" river. On Saturday November 9th there will be two paddles (beginner and intermediate)  one leaving Grey Preserve going to Francis Ave. Park to meet another group and then paddle on to Sims Park Boat Ramp a shuttle will be provided to return to your vehicles. A $10 donation is requested. Rentals are available as well for both paddles.   Sunday the 10th of November there will be an advanced paddle from the Sims Park Boat Ramp to Durney Key in the Gulf of Mexico. This paddle is about 10 miles round trip and you will be in the Gulf in open water for about two miles and the return trip will have a current of up to three knots in places.
