OLER 299-002 ACA SWR Instructor Certification class (3 credit) The ACA Instructor Development Workshop and Certification Exam is designed to evaluate Instructor Candidate's understanding of the required ACA SWR curriculum, use of appropriate teaching pedagogy and technical skills required of all ACA Certified Swift Water Rescue Instructors. This course provides not only the ability for candidates to earn their SWR-L-IV Instructor Certification, but will also focus extensively on how to appropriately and safely teach all the concepts of efficient and focused swift water rescue techniques. Class meets 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Sunday, April 26 - Wednesday, April 30. Class will take place in Pagosa Springs, CO. Lab fee of $100 includes certification, equipment use, and transportation to and from Pagosa Springs. Lodging may be provided. Students responsible for all meals. Instructor: Ty Tuff Limit: 10 Assistant Instructor: Marcel Bieg Lab Fee: $100.00 Start Date: 4/26 End Date: 4/30 Location: Pagosa Spring CO Classroom Dates: Each day will be a combination of Classroom and Field Time Overnight trip: Each day will be a combination of Classroom and Field Time
