Moraine State Park is offering a Quickstart Your Kayak Skills Course on Lake Arthur. Park staff will teach kayak basics including clothing, gear, equipment, paddle strokes, and wet exits. All kayaks and safety equipment will be provided by the park. Participants may not bring their own kayak for this program. Participants must be at least 9 years of age. An adult must accompany those participants that are under the age of 18. Please contact Emily Borcz at 724-865-9473 or eborcz@pa.gov to register. Participants should allow 3 hours for this program and dress to get wet.
