There will be both canoe and kayak races along with a kid's sprint relay and "Fun Paddle"

The Courses available to paddle are- (this does not include the kids relay or Fun Paddle)
     Long Course (4.0 miles)
     Short Course (2.0 miles)

The Classes available to participate in are-
     C-1 = 1-person recreational canoe or “competition cruiser” canoe

     C-2 = 2-person recreational canoe only
     K-1 = 1-person plastic sea kayak or “other material” sea kayak

     K-2 = 2-person plastic sea kayak only

     C-1 & K-1 = Men, Women, Male Youth, Female Youth (“Youth” are under 16 years old)
     C-2 & K-2 = Men, Women, Mixed (1 Male & 1 Female), Adult & Child, Male Youth, Female Youth,
        Mixed Youth

Late registration and check in will be held at the race site in Beaverdam Reservoir Park in Gloucester, VA beginning at 8:00 AM. The race courses are on a quite, open-water lake surrounded by forested parkland. Both a long (4-mile) and a short (2-mile) course are offered. Also offered are a s-person KID'S SPRINT RELAY race, and a fun paddle for those that choose not to race. Lots of door prizes. Classes are offered for recreational canoes and kayaks as well as for racing hulls meeting the United States Canoe Association (USCA) specifications.
