The French Broad Classique is held annually in the latter part of April (2015 dates are April 25-26) near Asheville, North Carolina. The French Broad Classique has paddling events for competitors of every experience level and craft: canoes, kayaks and stand-up paddleboards. Competitors can come for one or both days and are welcome to switch to different boats or different classes. We hope you can join us! In 2015, the French Broad Classique will consist of three (3) events: 1) Eighteen (18) mile downriver race on Saturday (for experienced competitors). 2) Sixteen (16) mile downriver race on Sunday (for experienced competitors) 3) Eight (8) mile Fun Race on Sunday (come one, come all!)
