Learn the basics of whitewater kayaking though Maine Sport Outfitters new Intro to Whitewater course. This 2-day local course will take place on a variety of different sections of the St. George River between Searsmont and Warren. The course will guide participant’s through a slow progression of whitewater skill building on day 1 before utilizing the skills developed in mild whitewater on day 2. Skills developed will include basic kayak paddle strokes, boat maneuverability, and boat control in a moving water environment.
