The reason most of us love kayaking is the ability to travel and see the world from the quiet perspective of our boats. However, venturing on to “tricky” water bodies like the Hudson River with waves, currents and big boat wakes is a bit daunting for many paddlers. Our Hudson River Teach and Trek covers trip planning and safety, tides and currents, navigation and aspects of trip leadership. This is all packaged into a fun, day-long trek. This class will help you become a capable participant on kayak trips.
