5Point Film Festival is proud to announce the launch of its inaugural "concert style," outdoor documentary short film and recreation Festival August 14 + 15 at the Thomas Wolfe Auditorium!

Some of the highlights of the weekend include:

2 nights of 30+ inspiring adventure documentary films total, curated based on their alignment with our 5 guiding principles: respect, commitment, humility, purpose, & balance. At Thomas Wolfe Auditorium.

1 youth adventure film program, geared towards a younger audience, but totally appropriate (& inspirational) for those of us "big kids" out there. The kids film program lasts about an hour, & is free to all kids 13 & under. At Thomas Wolfe Auditorium.
VIP Festival Pass holders get preferred seating in the theater, invitations to VIP-only pre- & after-parties, vouchers for Sierra Nevada beers, & access to our VIP lounge during the film programs.

Free events including a festival kick-off party across from the US Cellular Center from 4-7pm on Friday; A "Going the Distance" panel discussion hosted & curated by Will Harlan, of Blue Ridge Outdoors, 10am Sat at Sol Bar/New Mountain; ice cream social, live music, & games following the kids program, 12pm Sat at New Mountain; Down by the River play date with Liquid Logic, Astral Designs, NRS, ENO, & more at the Boathouse 1-4pm; a van life rally (adventure vehicle rally) & tailgating at New Mountain 4-7pm Sat with live music, food trucks, & Sierra Nevada; DJ After Party at New Mountain 10pm after the film program Sat night.

Brand engagement with our national apparel sponsor, Outdoor Research, as well as many other sponsors, partners, vendors, & more.

Special guests, athletes, film makers, local legends, & 5Point family members on stage, & scattered throughout our events & activities.

Live artists including music, dance, puppetry, installations, photography, spoken word, & some surprises
