Get certified for teaching SUP in an ACA Level 1-2 SUP Instructor Certification Course in NJ and NY! This 3 day course is a combination of an American Canoe Association (ACA) Instructor Development Workshop (IDW) and an Instructor Certification Exam (ICE) in the ACA L-1 & L-2 disciplines. It is an essential course for the SUP paddler looking to get certified and gain the experience and confidence needed to lead guided trips, and teach students to become safer and more competent paddlers. This course will offer participants expert SUP instruction from two highly experienced instructors and helps all types of paddlers sharpen their paddling and teaching skills. The Instructor Certification Workshop (ICW) provides SUP Instructors the basics of water safety and a solid framework of SUP teaching techniques. It is an intensive, fast paced workshop designed to refine your instructional techniques and familiarize you with the processes of the high quality SUP curriculum of the American Canoe Association.
