L2 Essentials of River Canoe Instructor Certification Workshop will be held August 19-21 2016 in Martindale Texas, which is located about 40 minutes south of Austin. We will be on the San Marcos River which is a beautiful spring fed river.

The course begins at 9 AM on Friday and will conclude before 5 PM Sunday.

Participants should have basic tandem or solo canoeing skills and some experience on moving water. Those who are unable to complete all L2 qualifications may still be able to certify as a tandem or solo L1 Introduction to Canoe Instructor.

Course fee is $350, plus ACA membership, Instructor Manual and SEIC dues.

Rental boats are available for a reasonable fee.Provide your own transportation to the river. Nearby hotel accommodations are plentiful, or you may reserve a campsite by the river.
