On Sun. Aug. 21 there will be a sea kayak level 1 at Lake Sebago which is located in Harriman State Park (near Bear Mountain). The lake is a great place to learn kayaking skills since the water is calm and the weather does not factor in

There will be a follow up Level 2 on Sat. Aug. 27 with a practice day on Aug. 28 for any one who participate in either class. 

Level 1
Date: Sun. Aug. 21
Time: 9:30 am - 4:30
Place: Lake Sebago in Harriman State Park
Cost: 
ACA members: $75 which includes instruction, daily fees and practice day Aug. 28). 
If equipment is needed there will be a $15 additional charge.

forward stroke
backward stroke
draw stroke
sculling draw
sweep
reverse sweep
learn how to use a spray skirt
rescues with spray skirt
