On November 8, 2016, Adaptive Expeditions will present a 6-hour pre-conference workshop at AORE 2016 at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis.

This 6-hour workshop is designed to provide watersport instructors & outfitters, recreation program providers, and rehabilitation professionals with fundamental concepts needed to seamlessly and safely integrate people with physical disabilities into water based outdoor recreation programs.  Classroom facilitated discussion and hands-on learning will provide a great introduction, review and / or update of the material covered in the full ACA Adaptive Paddling Workshop (APW).  We will explore five key topics: (1) Language, Etiquette and Interaction, (2) The Legal Context, (3) Adaptive Outfitting.

Cost = $150
