Paddlepalooza is our way of sending off the 2016 paddling season. It is a gathering of canoers, kayakers and SUP enthusiasts to get on the water and enjoy the beauty of Kentucky and the company of great people.

We will have two guided tours throughout the day. Beginning at 2 PM, we will have our first group putting in at the Riverview Park Boat Dock, paddling down river to Lock and Dam #4, locking though, taking out at the Buffalo Trace Boat Ramp, shuttled to the distillery for a tour of the grounds, then back to the river to lock back through and finish back at the beginning. Beginning at 2:30PM, we will have a tour heading upstream ot see the 6 bridges of Frankfort. Also learn a bit about the water quality, history of the river and the town, and more. Both trips will conclude by 4:00 PM.

At 4:00, the fun is not over! Heath and Molly, a very well know Kentucky Roots band from Rumsey Kentucky will be providing some awesome live music. They even have a few songs about our own local Elkhorn Creek!

A food truck will be available all day selling bar-b-que and burgers and drinks. But feel free to bring the lawn chairs, some snacks and drinks and enjoy a day on the water with friends. Might be the last time this year!
