Ready to get certified as a Paddleboard instructor? We're ready to help make it happen!

Over 3 days we'll complete an Instructor Development Workshop and Instructor Certification Exam. Class will be held on and adjacent to the water. Expect to paddle a lot! We will be on the Catawba river near Charlotte, NC. Each morning we will meet at Tailrace Marina.

This course encompasses a great deal of information from Strokes & Maneuvers, Teaching & Learning theory to professional standards. We will also cover group management & rescues, board design/construction, and repair 

It's great for paddlers who:
Teach classes
Would like to teach SUP courses
Guide tours
Have experience teaching and paddling
Program directors
or Enthusiasts.

Cost: L1/L2 $450pp
L1 $350pp
L2 $350pp

In addition to Instructor Trainer Todd Bishop we will also have ACA Instructors Cohen Atkins and Charmaine Saulsbury on site.

*Each Instructor Candidate gets a floaty truckers cap, decals, water bottle holder and mini solar resin repair kit.
*you'll need a SUP, paddle, and a USCG approved PFD (each can be provided upon request)

There will be a SUP yoga endorsement course on 03/30/2017 at the same location. Check the calendars for more information.
