This course is an upgrade course from Level 2: Essentials of SUP Instructor.  In addition to being a current L2 SUP instructor you must also be able to pass a Level 3: Whitewater SUP skills assessment. This course will take place in class II & III whitewater.  Level 3 candidates must be able to teach at demo quality in class II whitewater and L4 aspirant candidates will need to be able to teach demo quality in class III whitewater.  Additionally, L3 candidates must be able to show comfort and competence in class III whitewater and L4 candidates must be able to show comfort and competence in class III+ whitewater.  L3 & 4 candidates must also be able to paddle class I-II whitewater in both regular and goofy stance, catch eddies, perform peel outs and ferries from the heel-side in both goofy and regular stances.
