L5: Advanced Open Water Coastal Kayak Instructor Development Workshop & Update (3 Days) San Francisco Bay, the Golden Gate and the Marin Headlands are perfect locations for advanced coastal kayaking with strong tidal currents, powerful swells and changeable weather conditions providing an abundance of learning opportunities and easy access to Level 5 conditions. Ryan Rushton and Sean Morley invite you to participate in a comprehensive, informative and challenging three days of instructor development that will reinvigorate your teaching, broaden your coaching abilities and help you prepare for certification. WHO: This course is for Level 4 Open Water Coastal Kayak Instructors preparing to upgrade to Level 5. Please check the ACA Instructor Criteria to be sure that you are eligible. Attending this course will count as a Level 4: OWCK or Level 5: AOWCK Update. WHAT: This course is an Instructor Development Workshop and Update. It is NOT a Certification Exam (we are offering an Instructor Certification Exam in January 2018). WHEN: 9.00 AM Friday, December 1st through 5.00 PM Sunday, December 3rd, 2017 NOTE: Closing date for registration for this course is Friday, November 17th, 2017 WHERE: Presidio Yacht Club (Travis Marina), Sausalito, CA COST: $399 (Minimum enrollment: 3, Maximum enrollment: 8) Please note: Cost does not include kayak and gear rental.
