Advanced Swiftwater Rescue Instructor Certification
This class, introduced in 2005, prepares candidates to help advanced paddlers develop the rescue skills they need as they venture into more remote and challenging whitewater. Although some technical rope skills are introduced, most of the course focuses on applying previously learned skills in a series of scenarios. Therefore, a considerable portion of the instructor class is devoted to developing and managing scenarios.
