Basic River Canoe
Basic River Canoe focuses mainly on canoes that are designed more for whitewater use and on the student that wishes to "work" or "play" the river by catching lots of small eddies, and doing ferries, instead of just going from point A to point B. The boats used generally have floatation, the students are kneeling and canoes have knee pads and thigh straps. Great for clubs, camps, groups or individuals that wish to "play" on moving water rivers up to Class I Designed as a stand-alone course, students desiring more intensive skills would proceed to the White Water Canoe Course.
