The Basic Whitewater Safety Instructor Certification
For those interested in teaching basic safety and rescue skills in water up through Class II. This course is virtually identical to the previous Intro to River Safety Course, however the BWS Instructor will teach those same skills adapted to the demanding environment of whitewater. This IDW/ICE requires a minimum of 16 contact hours, however previously certified whitewater instructors are encouraged to challenge the one-day ICE.
