    • Additional Information
      • Angle Island is located just off short from Sausalito in San Francisco Bay. The Island is rich with the history of the area and offers fantastic camping, hiking and sight seeing opportunities. The group will carry all needed gear in sea kayaks and paddle to the island. Once there, participants will set up camp and have time to explore all the island has to offer. In the evening one can relax and watch the sun sink behind the coastal hills and witness the city light up as dusk gives way to night. This trip will include sea kayak guides, paddling equipment, group camping gear, camping fees and 3 meals. Participants must provide their own clothing and personal camping gear, toiletries and eating utensils.

  • Adaptive Paddling Workshop (APW)

  • Level 5: Advanced Open Water Coastal Kayaking Instructor Development Workshop (IDW) and Instructor Certification Exam (ICE)

      • This course is a IDW and ICE simultaneously. Participants who have successfully completed the appropriate L-5 IDW are welcome to register for the ICE to earn their L-5 Instructor Certification.

Registration & Cancellation Policies for Pre-Conference Courses:

Registrations will be accepted on a first come first serve basis. If we receive your registration after we have reached capacity, either for the conference or a pre or post conference course, you will be notified that your name has been placed on a waiting list and your payment will not be processed. If the required number of participants do not sign up for an individual pre or post conference course, it will be cancelled by October 21, 2016 and a full refund made to any currently enrolled individuals. If a registration cancellation is necessary for the conference or for a pre or post conference course, payment, less a $50.00 administrative fee,is refundable if written notice is received prior to October 21st. No refund will be made for cancellations received after October 21st, except when caused by serious personal illness; in this case, the loss will be shared equally.
