The ACA is proud to provide its members representation in public policy and decisions that affect stewardship at a national level. Our Conservation Newsroom provides you with the latest news in policy and conservation that impact the waters you love to paddle and the places you like to play.
Being one of the largest, most active paddlesports organizations in the world, the ACA is often approached by otherorganizations to help support conservation initiatives by signing petitions, letters, or providing comments to local and federal representatives. The ACA evaluates all requests for support on the basis of relevance to our membership base, a demonstrated environmental need, and that the proposed solutions are both constructive and reasonable.
The ACA is proud to be associated with initiatives that seek to preserve our planet's natural resources and of a legacy that has been promoting good on-water stewardship for more than 130 years.
