Except for the technical information described below, the American Canoe Association does not collect any personal information data about you on this website unless you voluntarily provide it.
We collect information that you voluntarily provide, such as when you send us an email message or submit information through one of our on-line forms. However, we will only use this information in accordance with the purpose for which you provided it. In particular, the ACA will not share your email address with any third party unless you affirmatively give us permission to do so.
Collection and use of technical information
This website uses temporary "session" cookies that enable your web browser to remember which pages you have already visited. Other than that, this site does not use cookies.
Most of this site will function properly using a browser that has cookies disabled. However, pages that require visitors to log-in may not work with cookies disabled. Our internet service provider collects technical information on visitors to this website for ACA’s statistical purposes. This technical information collection captures the following types of information:

Every time you place an order for a product from the ACA on-line Store, you are automatically protected. Before you can order, your browser automatically reads our "site certificate" and verifies our identity with VeriSign, a third party certifying agency.
