First Aid & CPR Requirement

On June 14, 2009, the ACA Board of Directors approved a motion pertaining to requiring First Aid and CPR for all ACA Instructors, Instructor Trainers, and Instructor Trainer Educators. 

On June 25, 2009, the SEIC Executive Committee finalized the actual policy manual wording.  The official policies associated with the First Aid & CPR Requirement can be found in the SEIC Policy Manual, revised as of 9-16-2009.

Please review the revised SEIC Policy Manual at your earliest convenience.

Implementation Plan:

• Starting 1/1/2010 all newly certified ACA Instructors, Instructor Trainers, and Instructor Trainer Educators must have and maintain First Aid and age appropriate CPR.
• Starting 1/1/2011, all ACA Instructors, Instructor Trainers, and Instructor Trainer Educators certified prior to 1/1/2010 must have and maintain First Aid and age appropriate CPR.
