Meet at the takeout (Pennyfield Lock), after which we will shuttle to Riley’s Lock as the put-in (minimum water level of 3.5ft on the Little Falls gauge). We will start with wet exits then practice forward and sweep strokes as we cross the Potomac. We then then go down the George Washington channel and practice ferrying, eddy hopping, and peel outs (including C turns and S turns), and stern draws. We will take the left channel, cross the Potomac, and end at Pennyfield.
