The Georgia Cup is the largest and most widely attended open ocean paddleboard and self-propelled watercraft race in Georgia and grows in popularity and participants each year. This year’s race is scheduled for the weekend of October 11, 12 & 13, 2018.

New for this years event is the Open Kayak Division, no restrictions on type of kayak for this event, just remember this is a 7.5 mile open ocean race.

The Georgia Cup, consist of 8 races; the 7.5 Mile Elite and the 3 Mile Recreational Race,
7.5 Mile prone, OC and kayak race, grom fest for kids 15 & under, a Dog-On-Board & 4 person relay race.

Over the past number of years, a nonprofit charity has been selected to receive 100% of the net proceeds through the generous corporate, business & personal donations, registration fees and the yearly raffle. The 2018 beneficiary is the 100 Miles. 100 Miles is a 501(c)3 coastal advocacy organization, whose mission is the protection, preservation, and enhancement of the 100-mile of Georgia coast. 100 Miles focuses on core issues of water and wetlands, land use, changing climate, and wildlife.

The roots of this race has and will continue to be a community race, with a few hundred guest and visitors. Really...it's about the sun, salt, sand, fun, the parties, the meals, the music, the adult beverages, the camaraderie and oh yeah... the racing.

The Georgia Cup Is Truly "The Every Man Race"
