The Essentials of Stand Up Paddleboarding course is designed to develop and refine the skills needed to paddle effectively in conditions where wind, waves and current are present. This course is also designed to increase knowledge of SUP equipment.

This two day program is a comprehensive course appropriate for novice as well as experienced SUP paddlers that have not been exposed to the ACA Nationally Recognized Paddle Sports SUP Program. Students will receive a certificate of participation for this class and may elect to move forward with the ACA Level 2 SUP Skills Assessment and SUP Day Trip Leader Assessment being offered following this course.

Students interested in only one day of Level 1 SUP training may join for just the first day. Students seeking Level 2 training will benefit from attending both days.

Course fees are $100 per day for those providing their own SUP, Cold Water Immersion Gear, and Safety Equipment. Gear is available to rent at an additional fee. The full two day Level 2 SUP class cost $200
