The Frostbite Canoe/Kayak Training Camp is the largest canoe/kayak training camp in the US, attracting both junior and senior flatwater sprint canoe and kayak athletes. In 2018, 85 athletes participated in 2 days of on water paddling sessions, lectures and dry land training. 2019 Frostbite Camp includes 2 days of training from 7am - 4pm; 2 days of snacks and lunch; all the hot cocoa, hot cider or hot coffee an athlete can drink; a Saturday night pizza party; entry into the Eric Hughes Memorial Distance Regatta, and a pancake breakfast. Please go to www.seattlecanoekayak.club for details regarding registration. Information for out of town paddlers regarding billeting and boat availability will be posted on the website. Please contact Tami Oki at tamara.oki@seattle.gov for further information.
