This paddle starts at 219th St. and ends in the Estuary section of the River by Concrete Plant Park. These trips are approximately four and a half hours on water and have 3 portage sites which requires one to wheel and carry their boat for approximately 10 minutes. On this trip, you will have the opportunity to travel south through Shoelace Park, The Bronx River Forest, The Botanical Garden, and the Bronx Zoo and into the Estuary via 182nd Fish Passage. All registering should be predominately fit for this challenging, yet rewarding experience on the Bronx River.
