The University of Akron is hosting an ACA Adaptive Paddling Workshop on April 3-4, 2020. For any of you who are looking to get the AP endorsement or certificate of completion, this may be a great opportunity to accomplish that goal. The workshop will be led by John MacDonald and Julia Neal, and will be held on UA’s campus in the Student Recreation and Wellness Center and Ocasek Natatorium. One important point to note is that there are only 10 spots available in the course and we anticipate it filling. The cost is $275, which includes course materials. If interested, we would encourage you to register early. In addition, if you plan to attend and have an interest in a particular discipline (kayak, canoe, SUP), please let us know.

ACA Mission

Founded in 1880, The American Canoe Association (ACA) is a national nonprofit organization serving the broader paddling public by providing education related to all aspects of paddling, stewardship support to help protect paddling environments, and sanctioning of programs and events to promote paddlesport competition, exploration, and recreation.
