Novice and Competitive Race

Sprinting from a dry beach launch at La Posada Beach Novice and Competitive SUP and Kayak competitorsbattle along the coast and either round the point or paddle through one of the sea-carved tunnels. Paddlers will traverse Pelicano Cove through the second tunnel/around the point and down the side of Isla Jama. Paddling through the narrow channel between beach and island, Paddlers scrimmage back across Pelicano Bay through the tunnel or around the point. The battle will continue along the coast line toward La Posada, beaching your craft and sprinting for a dry sand finish line paddle in hand. Competitive Paddlers will be required to round a buoy at La Posada Beach for a 2 lap course

Cinco de Mayo Mad Dash

1000 meter sprint race parallel to the beach. Competitors will start from a buoyed start line and skirmish to a buoyed finish.
