400 international athletes will race 6-man outrigger canoes through the challenging waters and traffic of New York Harbor in the shadow of the World Trade Center and the Statue of Liberty. Join us at Hudson River Park's Pier 26 to watch one of the most unique paddling experiences in the world that we like to call urban outrigger canoeing. While watching the action, soak up the sun on the first day of summer and enjoy enjoy the food, festival and Polynesian entertainment. Family activities include lei-making and storytelling while adults can take a free introductory session on the water in an outrigger canoe.
