Spend your morning experiencing Quad Cities Water Trails on the Mississippi River as you paddle from one of five launch sites to Lake Potter and Sunset Park in Rock Island, IL. Launch early or pit-in at Lake Potter to enjoy food, music, and a paddle sports trade-show. At 2:00 p.m. everyone will gather for the traditional group photo and the attempt to break the Guinness World Record for the largest raft of canoes and kayaks (Current Record: 2,099). Paddlers can launch from Empire Park in East Moline, IL, Ben Butterworth Parkway in Moline, IL, or from Main Street, Marquette Street, or Credit Island in Davenport, IA.
