The Oldest Whitewater Festival In New Mexico Sunday, May 14th (Mother's Day!) 10: 00 AM - Downriver Race (meet at Quartzite) Men’s and Women’s Division 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM - Geology Float Down the Racecourse (meet at Quartzite) 3:30 – 4:00PM - Mom and Child Tandem Race (meet at TJB) starts at TJB and finishes at Rio Bravo Campground. (Ik's, Kayaks, SUP, Raft's) 5PM – 6PM Raft R-4 Downriver Race (four paddlers per boat) – Quartzite to County Line 6:30PM Après Race Awards & Party: Just down road from races on right at Blue Heron Brewery. 

ACA Mission

Founded in 1880, The American Canoe Association (ACA) is a national nonprofit organization serving the broader paddling public by providing education related to all aspects of paddling; stewardship support to help protect paddling environments; and sanctioning of programs and events to promote paddlesport competition, exploration and recreation.
