Experience the best of both worlds on the Potomac River, the C&O Canal and the river itself. You will enjoy a bike ride up the C&O Canal, part of the Potomac Heritage National Scenic Trail and a river paddle down the Potomac to where you started. Bikes will be available to rent, for ages 8 and above, or bring your own. We can shuttle your bike back to your car. We will meet and register at the boat launch in Shepherdstown, WV. We will bike through Shepherdstown, across the Potomac and up the C&O canal to Snyder’s Landing. Then you will jump into your rental kayak or canoe and float back to Lock 38. Then you can enjoy an evening in Shepherdstown for great food and entertainment. Please bring a packed lunch and water. (Extra water will be available during the float)
