 This season the ACA is partnering with the Maine Island Trail Association and the Northern Forest Canoe Trail to offer two back country paddling expeditions.

Penobscot Bay:

This five day coastal kayak exploration of the Maine coast will explore the Deer Isle and Mt Desert Island areas. Paddle rocky shores, camp on remote islands, and restore an remote island shoreline by removing Marine Debris. (August 8th -12th, 2016) Details available in April.

Raquette River:

This five day Adirondack canoe camping trip will explore New York's most beautiful park. We will enjoy warm water, cool nights, and restore a portage trail in the northern forest. (September 2016)  Details available in April.
