ACA continues to closely monitor COVID-19 developments and we are in frequent communication with the US Olympic & Paralympic Committee, the International Canoe Federation, and other partners.  In fact, because this situation is so dynamic, the USOPC is hosting almost daily calls with the NGB Council about COVID-19.

Our top priority is the health and safety of our athletes, coaches, official,s and staff.  Currently, all our athletes are in the United States and are limiting their travel (especially air travel).  All future travel plans are being evaluated and will be adjusted as needed. The ACA office staff has cancelled all travel for the next 30 days.

I am working with our coaches and discipline leadership on contingency plans for Team Trials, and we understand that COPAC and the ICF are developing contingency plans for the Olympic qualifier events.  For now, though, these events have not been cancelled or modified.
