Lynne is an American Canoe Association (ACA) instructor:

Lynne was an ACA Instructor Trainer in Whitewater Kayaking, Whitewater Canoeing, and Advanced Coastal Kayaking until she returned to graduate school to become a Registered Nurse practicing first in Emergency Medicine and Telehealth:
Registered Nurse (RN)
Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN)
PhD with dissertation on patient safety and quality of care

Lynne skippers up to 47′ sailboats in Texas, Southern California, and all over the Caribbean with American Sailing Association certifications in sailing and navigation. She has also served as a Big Bend head guide for raft and canoe commercial trips.
Social/Volunteer Organizations
Lynne previously served as a member and secretary of the American Canoe Association Board of Directors and Safety/Education/Instruction Committee (SEIC) as well as a US Olympic Festival team manager for whitewater slalom athletes. As ACA Board member, she initiated and - with area clubs - successfully piloted the first ACA Paddle America club program. She remains an active member of local and state paddling clubs in Texas including Houston Canoe Club and Houston Area Sea Kayakers (HASK).

To promote paddlesport in Texas and surrounding states, Lynne started up This LLC business allows her to again promote ACA instruction, recreation, competition, and stewardship through traditional and social media clubs. RiverCoast allows her to bring in Instructor Trainers to offer area paddling workshops and instructor development in coastal kayak, whitewater canoe and kayak, and other paddlesport opportunities. RiverCoast also provides and sells high level equipment such as NDK kayaks and Lendal paddles that are otherwise not available in South Central US.

Founded in 1880, The American Canoe Association (ACA) is a national nonprofit organization serving the broader paddling public by providing education related to all aspects of paddling, stewardship support to help protect paddling environments, and sanctioning of programs and events to promote paddlesport competition, exploration, and recreation.
