14th annual running of this popular public paddle event covering 8.4 miles from Neenah to Appleton, Wisconsin. The event launches in the Fox River, travels into Lake Winnebago around Doty Island and through Menasha's hand-operated lock to Little Lake Butte des Mort to finish at Appleton's Lutz Park on the Fox River. This popular event has had as many as 350 paddlers participate and is strongly supported by several ACA certified instructor escorts and multiple law enforcement and rescue agency on-water escort boats. Founded in 1880, The American Canoe Association (ACA) is a national nonprofit organization serving the broader paddling public by providing education related to all aspects of paddling; stewardship support to help protect paddling environments; and sanctioning of programs and events to promote paddlesport competition, exploration and recreation.
