10 Teams of 5 members with either canoes or decked boats compete in river rescue events for over $1000 worth of prizes on the Tuckasegee River in Dillsboro, NC.  Teams compete in all events for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place as well as overall prizes.

Dillsboro River Company at the put-in to the Tuckasegee Gorge – Dillsboro, NC  

Schedule

• 800am:                  Set up and parking
• 830am – 900am: Registration for all team members (bring your ACA number)
• 900am:                  General Meeting (all team members and officials must attend)
• 930am:                  Rope Throw
• 1000am:                First Aid Scenario
• 1130am:                Rescue Scenario
• 100pm:                  Knot Rodeo
• 200pm:                 Yard Sale Rescue
• 330pm:                 Closing and Awards

Food and Beverages

Water and a small variety of snacks will be made available at the event but will be limited.  We encourage teams to bring extra food for lunch and snacks that are readily available during the day.  

Bathroom and Changing Facilities

Bathrooms and changing spaces will be made available during the event compliments of Dillsboro River Company.
