L5 Kayak ACA Certification Course

I’m offering a 2 day L5 Certification course this winter based out of Clayton, GA. The dates of the course are 12/12/15-12/13/15 and the course tuition is $250.

In order to sit for the L5, you must have taught and reported at least 2 L4 courses and taken a swift water rescue course. (The SWR course can be taken later and applied retroactively. I can help with that, if needed.) The expectation is that you are an experienced instructor who exceeds the L4 standard, has solid risk management skills, and is comfortable leading on Class IV. You’ll also need to be current in First Aid, CPR, ACA dues and SEIC dues.

As an L5 Kayak Instructor, the ACA is willing to insure your courses on up to and including Class IV runs.
