Students will be taking the skills they learned at Introduction to Paddling and applying them to a moving water environment. Land-based instruction will include recognizing and avoiding hazards, river reading and the theories of moving water maneuvers. River-based instruction will include ferries, eddy turns and peel-outs in a variety of river features.
