This five-day course is designed for competent whitewater kayakers who want to become instructors. During this course Instructor, candidates will learn industry standards for teaching kayaking and be assessed throughout the class on Teaching Ability, Technical Ability, Technical Knowledge, and Rescue Ability.

Prerequisites

18 years of age, competent class III kayaker with a solid roll, current ACA member: Become a MEMBER or RENEW. Current ACA Safety Education & Instruction Committee (SEIC) Dues must be paid to hold any level Instructor Certification
