San Francisco Bay is an extraordinarily rich location for coastal kayaking with strong tidal currents, busy shipping channels, a rocky coastline, and changeable weather providing an abundance of learning opportunities and easy access to Level 3 conditions. This course may be taken as a Level 3 Instructor Development Workshop by individuals who have passed an ACA Level 3 Coastal Kayak Skills Assessment or as an Instructor Certification Exam by individuals who have successfully completed a Level 3 Coastal Kayak Instructor Development Workshop.
